Use a fresh baseline export and the proposed price-update CSV from the same store. Open index.html, choose both files, then compare. Review every finding; absence of findings is not permission or assurance to import.
Supported scope
Read-only product CSV comparison. Matching requires the same handle and all option names/values. Selected legacy headers are normalized. Exact string changes are reported. Missing rows, duplicate identities and image-only rows remain unverified. The tool does not inspect store settings, apps, images, taxonomy, markets, inventory locations, orders, customers, taxes or remote URLs.
Before an actual import
Back up the store's current export. Review omitted columns and included blanks separately. Option edits can recreate variant IDs. Test a small subset using Shopify's own workflow and check results. Do not use this prototype to approve live pricing autonomously.
Draft privacy notice
This offline prototype reads selected files in browser memory. It has no upload endpoint, analytics, cookies, account system or persistent storage. Closing or clearing removes app-held file data. Downloaded reports remain on your device and may contain confidential catalog details. This page is hosted by Cloudflare, which may process request metadata such as IP address and browser information to serve and protect the site. No tool support form or checkout is active. No payments or subscriptions are accepted. A future paid launch must show the approved seller identity, contact method, delivery scope, price, tax treatment and refund terms before purchase. Proposed support: self-serve troubleshooting, then an optional redacted issue report. Never request full catalog files or passwords by default.
